About Us
We are a small group of counsellors who firmly believe that no person should suffer alone. Everybody who needs help should have access to a professional and confidential counselling support.
CICS History
Centre for Integrated Counselling Services (CICS) is a Care & Counselling Ministry. We believe, a small drop of help towards change has the potential to bring restorative life.
The seed of CICS is traced back to the founders’ brief mission stay (2005–2007) in the Republic of Burundi, Central East Africa. “Systematic Genocide” as some would call, Burundi then was a country recovering from decades-long civil wars. Pained yet helpless to see people longing for wholesome healing from affliction and acute poverty, Kariu’s and Vetso’s burden to reach out to the wounded people who were deterred from enjoying a meaningful life has continued to grow ever since.
In response to this calling of care and counselling ministry, the Centre for Integrated Counselling Services (CICS) became a reality on 7th July 2017.
